Candlelight dinner is great, but so cliche, don't get me wrong, I love candlelight dinners, I like surprises, which helps me to understand my date in how he likes to treat women or that special one as he like to be treated.

My date is waiting for me at a classy restaurant with a white rose in his hand. He orders a bottle of wine with our dinner. We look into each other's eyes as we speak. At the end of the evening, he gives me a big hug which lets me know he's a true gentleman.

First "meeting" should be as casual and stress free as possible. If we make a connection, then I would love to be asked out in the old fashioned way, verbally. LOL. (Not a text).
