First dates should be fun and not leave you feeling awkward and confused. Something I think would be the perfect first date is something to do without doors. Rather that be us having a Picnic outside or just going for a stroll. It's a low pressure way to get to know someone and what there all about.

Then we drive to a place with a really great view of the town or city lights and talk in the car with some good, soft music playing in the background.
